At CKR, we work closely with private and public company clients in developing their intellectual property portfolios. We understand the sensitive and valuable nature of IP in our clients’ businesses and work vigorously to protect their rights in the event litigation arises. Our attorneys have expertise defending and enforcing IP rights of clients in myriad industries including biotechnology, electronics, telecommunications, energy, medical and software. Our team of litigators and IP specialists, many of whom hold technical degrees, work swiftly to respond to violations.

CKR will always seek to find the most expedient and commercially practicable result for its clients. Our attorneys work directly with clients to evaluate the most prudent yet effective manner of resolving a dispute, which may include alternative methods of dispute resolution such as mediation, arbitration or negotiating a settlement. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants and thus are well-positioned to anticipate the needs of clients and achieve favorable results.

CKR advises clients on all aspects of IP litigation before judicial as well as administrative courts including patent infringement, copyright and trademark infringement, rights of publicity, domain names, trade dress and trade secrets.

Our team of patent litigators combines comprehensive knowledge of patent law with seasoned litigation experience to represent clients in enforcement cases as well as defending clients against patent infringement claims. We regularly prepare and prosecute patent applications on a wide array of different technologies before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and thus our attorneys have in-depth knowledge of key issues of concern to patent examiners.
