Dr. Fisher has represented the Government of the People's Republic of China (1999-2000) on international trade matters, handling cases under the Antidumping Law of the United States on fresh garlic and wax candles. Dr. Fisher currently is Senior Advisor for the CITIC Group, which is the third largest enterprise in China. Mr. Fisher currently represents the governments of the Republic of Sudan and the Republic of Suriname. He has also represented the governments of the Dominican Republic, Iceland, and Panama.
Dr. Fisher is Chairman of the Give Life Foundation and a Member and Director of the Foundation for America's Blood Centers. He has served as President of the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation, which he founded in 1983. He is Co-Founder of the International Biofuels Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Osgood Center for International Studies.
