Veronica M. Ortiz Galichet has over ten years of experience in torts and damages litigation, insurance litigation, commercial law litigation, administrative and corporate law. She also has vast experience in insurance coverage litigation, commercial general liability insurance policies, property insurance coverage, as well as life, cancer, and disability insurance policies.

Through the years, Attorney Ortiz Galichet has represented a variety of the most recognized insurance companies in Puerto Rico as well as retailer stores, companies, and Municipalities.

Attorney Ortiz Galichet is also counsel for an important broker company in Puerto Rico and employment agency for the past eight years. As such, she has ample experience in labor claims filed in state and federal court and administrative agencies.

Attorney Ortiz Galichet has experience in arbitration procedures conducted before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Moreover, she is one of the two lawyers that obtained a favorable decision for the client against the largest investment firm in Puerto Rico in a three-panel arbitration proceeding before FINRA.

Attorney Ortiz Galichet also worked within the team that helped to settle one of the most extended class action cases in the American jurisdiction, Carlos Morales Feliciano vs. Hon. Alejandro García Padilla, USDC Civil No. 79-4. A case before the Federal District Court was presented in 1979, settled in 2015, and Judgment was finally entered and filed in 2016.
