David Blackmar has over 27 years of experience working in premier international law firms, with an emphasis on environmental law and FDA food regulation.

Mr. Blackmar represents the U.S. and foreign food manufacturers and distributors, consumer product manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, real estate owners and developers, energy companies, hospitality companies, financial institutions, and other companies in a wide range of industries.

In his food law practice he provides sophisticated, comprehensive legal services to multinational, U.S. national, regional, and start-up food companies, regarding new product development and claims, FDA food regulatory compliance, environmental regulatory compliance, food safety and security, packaging materials compliance, supply chain environmental issues, sustainability, brand name identification and protection, distribution and franchise, co-manufacturing agreements, agency enforcement defense, product liability, and litigation.  He works with a select network of leading food scientists, food packaging materials engineers, and environmental health and safety experts.
