Eulalia (Laly) Salas has trained and practiced law in both civil law and common law jurisdictions. She has a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. She is certified as a public interpreter in English by the Ministry of Justice of Venezuela. Ms. Salas is licensed to practice in the State of New York and in Venezuela.

Her areas of expertise include immigration, banking, finance, capital markets and foreign investment law. She specializes in the drafting and negotiation of complex legal documentation and in dealings with global companies engaged in cross-border transactions between the United States and Latin America. Her extensive experience in immigration law includes the preparation of family-based immigrant visa petitions, treaty investor visas (E-2), immigrant and non-immigrant visas of individuals with Extraordinary Abilities (O and EB-1) and intracompany transferee visas (L-1). Ms. Salas is a native speaker of English and Spanish and conversational French.

Prior to joining CKR, Ms. Salas was a partner and chair of the immigration group in the Miami firm Egoavil & Horvat, PLLC. Earlier in her career, she was a partner in the law firm Rodner, Martinez & Asocs. of Caracas, Venezuela.
