Farzaneh Savoji is a partner in the Los Angeles office. Ms. Savoji practice primarily focuses on tax and general corporate. Ms. Savoji assists individuals and businesses in tax planning and controversies.

Ms. Savoji represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and Board of Equalization in matters of income, corporate and sales taxes. Ms. Savoji previously directed a pro bono tax clinic at Pacific Asian Consortium of Employment, guiding low-income taxpayers with their tax matters.

Ms. Savoji also advises businesses and non-profit organizations on entity structures and corporate governance appropriate for their mission and size. Ms. Savoji gives her clients individual assistance with tax planning for business formation, adoption of bylaws, and plan of liquidation. Ms. Savoji supplies clients with tailor-made business agreements including operating agreements, redemption agreements, buy-sell agreements and security agreements, amongst others and serves as general corporate counsel.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Savoji was a co-owner of a 2-branch dance studio which also produced, marketed, and distributed instructional DVDs worldwide. Occasionally, Ms. Savoji taught beginner’s salsa and Argentine tango.
