Ms. Coleman advises and represents companies in the preparation of employment-based nonimmigrant petitions (e.g. B, E, H, L, O, P, R, and TN), labor certification (PERM) applications, and immigrant petitions. In addition, Ms. Coleman represents family-based immigration matters such as permanent residence applications, joint petitions, fiancee petitions, and naturalization applications.
Prior to joining CKR, Ms. Coleman focused her career on corporate and business transactions, commercial litigation, commercial bankruptcy, and consumer bankruptcy. In 2011, Ms. Coleman co-founded and was the managing partner of Coleman & Kempinski P.C., a small bankruptcy law firm in Philadelphia for 3 years. There she honed not only her lawyer skills, but also handled along with her client caseload the firm’s set-up and operations, business development, accounting and bookkeeping, technology, and marketing matters.
