He brings nearly 40 years of experience to CKR with a broad corporate practice that includes venture capital transactions, securities, contract negotiation, commercial real estate, ecommerce and taxation.

Mr. Sloan has represented numerous restaurant and drug store chains in both the establishment of new locations as well as the acquisitions of existing franchises. He also represents several national large-scale leasing companies. Mr. Sloan has represented businesses both as in-house corporate counsel and as outside counsel in the manufacturing, commercial real estate, and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining CKR, Mr. Sloan was a partner at Davidson, Fuller & Sloan, L.L.P. and Hyatt & Rhoads, P.C. He also served as Executive Vice-President of Ridgeway Development Company for three years.
Mr. Sloan graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering and earned his J.D. at the University of Georgia where he graduated cum laude and served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review. Mr. Sloan received a Masters of Laws from Harvard University School of Law.
Mr. Sloan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
