He studied at Shanghai University School of Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Graduate Program of Fudan University, University of Technology Sydney School of Law, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and obtained his B.L. and LL.M. degrees. He also attended the Private Equity Program of Central University of Finance and Economics. He is one of the partners of our firm.
He started to practice law in the Second Law Firm in 1992. He founded New Hope Law Firm together with his colleagues in 1995 and has been serving as the managing partner since New Hope Law Firm merged with Shanghai Wen Da Law Firm. Currently, he is also the independent director of Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd.
During his over 20 years' legal career, he has provided both litigation and non-litigation legal services to retail giants in the east China region. He handles bankruptcy cases involving both large local companies and international corporations. He assists clients in crisis with their reorganization and advises on both corporate and property law to help them get rid of dilemmas. He also has extensive experience in international trade, customs and border administrative cases, and foreign investment. He was also the defense lawyer of the biggest VAT tax fraud case in Chinese history.
He provides one-stop legal counsel services to clients. He also represents clients in litigation and non-litigation legal matters including but not limited to corporate, contract, secured transaction and property law.
