CKR Law's Global Immigration Group assists companies in effectively managing global talent. This is accomplished through a comprehensive and complete global mobility and relocation services program. It is essential in improving the talent base in a target market, and thereby managing the global transition on the legal, financial and talent management fronts. The Global Immigration Group is led by partners Véronique Malka - vmalka@ckrlaw.com Chair of the Canadian Law Group and Mike Hammond - mhammond@ckrlaw.com Chair of the U.S. Immigration Group.

We offer the following Global Immigration Services:

U.S. Immigration

We provide U.S. immigration representation to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurial mom and pop shops. Our clients include publicly traded companies, public and private universities, internationally recognized research institutions, manufacturing firms, hospitals and healthcare systems, IT and engineering staffing and solutions firms, healthcare staffing firms, and many others. We also represent investors and individuals.

Our interdisciplinary and collaborative relationship with other CKR practices—including Employee Benefits, Tax, and Business and Finance—allows us to deliver to clients the benefits of integrated legal resources across a broad spectrum of legal matters. We recognize the close connections between a multinational corporation’s immigration program and its other essential operations, including internal employment policies, corporate compliance and governance, and plans for expansion and corporate development.
